This past spring, I attended the concert of a famous piano/cello duo. Their music took me to a wonderful place. One of the performers encouraged the audience to practice until they felt they were flying. I passed on this experience and words of wisdom to several of my students. One of my students joyfully told me she had reached that sweet spot in her practice!!! There is nothing like feeling confidence mixed with the beauty of connecting with others as you make music!
